Hand-colored Plat showing area in Frostburg, MD, "Plat No. 1. In the matter of the Public Road from New Central Coal Company's Tram Road to County Road in Borden" by D. Armstrong, Clerk for Company. Filed August 16, 1873.
Plat marks the locations for workers' houses at Johnson Mines, Midlothian Mines, and the Furnace.

Description
Survey plat by John W. Duvall of unnamed tract in Anne Arundel County lying between the lands of Lewis Duvall and Elizabeth Murdoch to the west of the public road leading from the City of Annapolis to the South River Ferry. Surveyed 27th February 1829 and filed 11 March 1829.
