Photograph showing the office of Charles F. Lee Insurance Company in the Lee Building, Church Circle at South Street, Annapolis, 1925.

Pictured from right to left: Charles F. Lee, Virginia Townshend (at desk), and Ola Gardiner (the accountant of the firm). Mounted on matte board with date September 15, 1925 on back. The door at the left opened on to Church Circle; the windows on the left faced South Street.

Conservation note: both lower corners of the photograph are missing.

According to family knowledge: Nellie Lloyd Carney and second husband George Klugh were owners during the early 19th century. Nellie's sister, Lilly Lloyd ran the hotel with her husband Perry [?]. The Lloyd sisters were the daughters of Philemon Lloyd and grand-daughters of Edward Lloyd.
