Description
Poster, James C. Beard, The Fiftheenth Amendment, Celebrated May 9th 1870. Poster was created to celebrate the passage of the 15th Amendment to the Constitution. Original color lithograph was rendered by James C. Beard (1837-1913) and owned by the Museum of American Political Life, Hartford, CT. It was first published in 1870 by Thomas Kelly Publishers, NY.
