1. Framed certificate from the American Planning Association, Maryland Chapter representing the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Wm Donald Schaefer "for his sustained 'vision' of a better Maryland," signed by Anthony (last name illegible) and witnessed by Lynn R. Thomas, December 6, 1991.
2.Framed certificate representing the 1993 Douglas H. Gordon Award of Baltimore Heritage, Inc. presented to William Donald Schaefer "for preservation advocacy...in recognition of his leadership role in advocating for the preservation of historic buildings in Baltimore City through individual action, supporting state grant funding and past initiatives while Mayor of Baltimore City," May 26, 1993.
