Niles' Weekly Register began publication Mar. 5, 1814 [vol. 6, no. 1] and ceased Aug. 26, 1837 [vol. 52, no. 26]. It was published weekly. Issues for Mar. 5, 1814-Aug. 26, 1837 called also: Whole no. 131-whole no. 1,352. Vols. 13-21 called also: New ser., v. 1-9; v. 26-35: 3rd ser., v. 2-11; v. 37-49: 4th ser., v. 1-13; v. 51-52: 5th ser., v. 1-2. Supplements accompany some vols. The serial continues the Weekly Register (Baltimore, Md.) and was continued by Niles' National Register.
