Restricted as per Rule 19 of the Rules Governing Admission to the Bar (1990). All persons, even the individual named on the file, must contact the State Board of Law Examiners. Series includes applications from out-of-state attorneys and law students to take the Maryland bar examination who are not admitted to the bar. Entries include applicant's name, address, date of birth, employment history, educational history, name and address of parents, former residences, character references, and other personal and family information. Also contains listing of applications dated 1940-1961 and character questionnaires dated 1934-1961. Sucessfully completed bar applications found in COURT OF APPEALS (Bar Applications (S112). 3-56-7-67/71; 3-69-7-1/40; 3-71-4-1/4 24 boxes: HF-10-21-61/78; HF-11-11-26/31
