Description
A 14" x 12" frame with 50 $0.22 U.S. stamps commemorating Maryland's ratification of the U.S. Constitution. Stamps depict a scene of the Annapolis harbor with the Maryland Statehouse in the background. The text reads "April 28, 1788. Maryland." It also reads "USA. 22."
The mat on the frame is signed by Stepehn Hustvedt.
An envelope was attached the the back of the frame containing a number of items of ephemera related to this document. See MSA SC 5985-2-4
