Description
Two reels of microfilm containing part of the Thomas Ridout family fonds (F-43) from the Archives of Ontario, Canada. The papers are the correspondence, diaries and copies of manuscripts relating to the Ridout family in Upper Canada in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Thomas Ridout (1754-1829) worked as a surveyor and served as a politician during this period. The Ridout families in Maryland and Ontario are related.

These papers intersect with other Ridout Family collections at Maryland State Archives, especially MSA SC 373 and MSA SC 910.
