A scrapbook of historical land records related to the Colchester plantation collected by the aunt and uncle of James Pearce containing
  • 1919 letter from James Pearce to James Woodall about giving him a collection of historic documents his aunt and uncle about Colchester farm, which is now in Woodall’s possession.
  • 1742 copy of 1672 land grant to William Palmer of Baltimore County with a transcription
  • 1710 copy of 1674 land indenture from William Palmer to John Tankerton for land by the Sassafras river with a transcription
  • 1678 copy of 1659 land grant to William Pearce for transporting Shelly Burgin, Wm. Lindscombe, Edward Davis, and Nathaniel Daniell according to a deal with Cecilius Calvert for land by the Sassafras river with a transcription
  • 1744 copy of 1706 land grant for William Pearce for land in Cecil County by Sassafras river with a transcription
