Necktie belonging to William Donald Schaefer. Dark red necktie with repeating design of black diagonal lines and an icon of a dome with the date “1782.” Dome is unidentified, possibly William Smith Hall on Washington College campus, Chestertown.

Description
Wooden puzzle, “Schaefer Fits.” The puzzle is a wooden base labeled “Schaefer Fits” with a square, triangle, and circle holes carved out. There is an adjoining peg, marked “W.D.S.” for William Donald Schaefer that can fit through each of the cut-out shapes. This piece was created in response to an opponent’s gubernatorial campaign commercial criticizing “Schaefer Doesn’t Fit,” featuring a boy trying to hammer a round peg into a square hole.
