School referred to as KWS in 1777 in a note to Charles Steuart about "rent due on the Lott of ground adjoining the Kentish house in this city." Account of Doctor George Steuart with KWS from 1738-1804, mentioning fine on lease of Donaldson House, cash paid Col. Chas. Hammond, J. Brice, W. Dulany, Upton Scott. Mention of efforts to "revive" St. John's College in 1819. Also mention of the Free School [aka King William's School] in a 1783 note to Charles Stewart about rent due. 11 items.
