Shriver Collection. Photocopies of two letters with appendix. First letter from Union Mills, MD, August 1, 1888 to "Cousin Sam." Second letter from July 4, 1863, written by F.(?) A. Shiver to brother Wirt (?). Second letter containing a appendix at the end along with extensive references to a publication called "The Century," as well as some German language.
