Description
DVD, "Kiplin Hall: Birthplace of Maryland." Maryland Public Television (MPT) and University of Maryland, 2013 Produced and directed by Ken Day, narrated by Samuel West Kiplin Hall is the manor estate where George Calvert, first Lord Baltimore, conceived of the idea for the colony of Maryland, but it was in poor condition until 1987, when University of Maryland architectural students under Professor David Fogle helped preserve it.
