Description
Primary topic of this file is religious education with much of the correspondence originating with E.M. Fergusson, General Secretary for the Maryland Sunday School Association. Miss Handy asked for information on Maryland Laws covering religious education. She also received correspondence from Henry F. Cope, General Secretary of The Religious Education Association. A special meeting was called for August 1, 1919 and there are several pieces of correspondence on that topic including an agenda and a post meeting report. In addition, O.M. Shockley wrote several notes concerning the county Sunday School organization. The file also includes a letter from W.H. Killian, Chairman of the Committee on Living Costs, as well as a copy of the Consumer’s Weekly Report on Retail Prices from the United States Food Administration. There is a short note from Lanta Dennis.
