Description
Correspondence in this file concerns thrift efforts during 1919. There is a letters from Oscar Leser, Acting Chairman of the Committee on Living Costs; Mrs. Eudora Ramsey Richardson, Director, Women’s Division of the War Loan Organization; from W.M. Servis, Director of the Savings Division, War Loan Organization; Georgie A. Bacon, General Federation Director of Thrift, General Federation of Women’s Clubs; Helen Adelaide Rothert, Secretary, Woman’s Division, War Loan Organization; and W. H. Killian, Chairman of the Committee on Living costs. The County Demonstration Agent for Worcester County was Miss Olive C. Mitchell of Salisbury, Maryland. The Thrift Chairman for the Woman’s Club of Worcester County was Miss Ethel Dix. The file includes “Chats Here and There” newsletters for October, November, and December 1919 as well as one for January 1920.
