Description
Gustavus Shaw

-Daily National Intelligencer, May 23, 1854

I looked up his slave owner who was signed a Z.B. Beall in the ad but only found a Wm. Z. Beall for P.G. County in the 1850. I did find Allen P. Bowie but his Census Record I was unable to print out in order to scan but I did gather the information off the microfilm. I could not locate Sarah Talbert or Gov. Sam Spriggs in PG in the 1850 Census.

U.S. CENSUS BUREAU (Census Record, MD), Sarah Talbert, 1860, Prince George's County, page 474, MSA SM 61-214, M 7223-2. S. Talbert is the owner of some of Shaw's relations
