"Port Tobacco Times" June 25, 1857.-Advertised as a runway along with John Wallace who ran away just after her on May 25 of that same year.

FOUND ANDREW SMOOT IN 1860 SLAVE SCHEDULES IN ALLEN FRESH DISTRICT

FOUND SON'S OWNER WM. COX IN 1850 AND 1860 CENSUS AND SLAVE SCHEDULES, NOT THE SAME WILLIAM COX IN 1850 AS IN 1860. CANNOT DECIDE WHO IS THE RIGHT COX, THEREFORE WILL NOT SCAN CENSUS AND ADD TO SOURCE PAGE

HAVE NOW DETERMINED THAT COX IS LISTENED IN THE 1860 CENSUS

FOUND HUSBAND'S OWNER JUDGE CRAIN IN 1850 AND 1860 CENSUS AND 1850 SLAVE SCHEDULE
