Spiro Agnew Bio Page Died 18 September 1996. Buried 21 September. Service at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium. Military honor guard; attended by Pat Buchanan, Helen Delech Bentley, Thomas D'Alesandro III. Twenty-one gun salute. Most accounts described funeral as small and low-key. Fesperman, Dan and Larry Carson. "Agnew recalled as 'regular guy'." The Sun (Baltimore), 21 September 1996. "Agnew laid quietly to rest." Evening Capital (Annapolis), 22 September 1996.
