Notes:
No references to the Grammer's daughters or the Schmidts were found in BALTIMORE COUNTY REGISTER OF WILLS (Guardian Accounts, Index) 1951-69, or BALTIMORE COUNTY REGISTER OF WILLS (Guardian Bonds) 1929-64. A search of 3 boxes of BALTIMORE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT (Adoption Papers) which covered from mid/late 1953 to early/mid 1955 was also done. While the files themselves are sealed in large envelopes, the envelopes generally give the name of the adult(s) pursuing the adoption and the date the decree was issued. The Schmidts were not found.
