Description
Leaves from front and rear of St. Peter's Parish, Talbot county, vestry minutes 1708-1877; Hollyday family papers containing genealogical records, land records for Talbot and Queen Anne's Counties 1659-1918, and miscellaneous 1701-1932. Approximately a third of the collection consists of land records pertaining to family holdings. Several additional items relate to family genealogy. Collection also includes a contemporary printed copy of the Constitution of 1776 that belonged to Colonel James Hollyday (1722-1786) who served as a member of the Convention of Maryland and the Council of Safety.
