Description
Southern High School oral history video interview with Vietnam War veteran, Captain John Hiser of the United States Army. Originally, he was drafted into the army in 1961 and spent 9 months in Germany before he decided to enlist to become a commissioned officer. In 1966, he served a tour in Vietnam, went over as a 1st lieutenant and was to be an artillery directions officer for an artillery unit.
