Description
Southern High School oral history video interview with Vietnam War veteran Captain Leon Young of the United States Army. Mr. Young served as a commissioned officer in military intelligence before and after the war, serving in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967 in the 173rd Airborne. He left the service as a Major. Interview includes descriptions of experiences in Vietnam, experiences interviewing and interrogating prisoners of war and people of interest, changing perspectives on the war, and service awards.
