Event: "Pastor’s Prayer Walk".

Location: Fountain Park, High Street, Chestertown MD.
Description: Attendees, including Bishop Charles M. Tilghman, President of local Kent County NAACP (left) and John Dolgos, Acting Chief of Police (right), kneel in Fountain Park during an 8 minute and 46 second moment of silence honoring George Floyd. Floyd, a Black man, died of asphyxiation while being arrested in Minneapolis in late May 2020. Outrage over his death led to nationwide protests against police brutality.
Artist caption: "The event was put together by local pastors in the community to protest police brutality. This photograph was taken in the middle fountain park during a 8 minutes and 46 second moment of silence for George Floyd."
