Description
A letter from Albert "Al" Edward Drapeau, a WWII veteran, to Chris Clark sharing his memories fighting in WWII and of Mr. Clark's Uncle, Donald Robert "Bob" Clark. They were in the same platoon but in different squads. Mr. Drapeau also discussed their time as prisoners of war (POW) and being taken near Schmidt, Germany, and being held in different POW camps including Limbourg, Neubrandenburg, Dannenwalde, and Schlemmin. Also included are printout pictures of Mr. Drapeau's 1993 return trip to Schmidt, Germany, Chris Clark's first letter to Mr. Drapeau, and a few of Mr. Clark's notes.
