Description
Three letters from Gini and Ralph Belward to Chris Clark and one letter from Mr. Clark to Mrs. Belward. The letters discussed Mr. Clark's purchase of 489th Mugs from Mrs. Belward, who previously chaired the 489th Runions, and Mr. Clark's research into his Uncle Charles "Frank" Clark's military career. Mrs. Belward provided information about several members of the 489th Bomb crews in WWII, and the names of planes they flew including Robert McMahon, George Smith, Tom McQuoid, John Pregon, Louis Confer, and Charles Freudenthal. Planes flown include Little Iodine, The Ripper, and Pregnant Peggy. Ralph Belward flew as co-pilot on The Ripper.
