Description
Three letters from Alfred "Al" Brunner, a veteran of Robert McMahon's crew in the 489th Bomb Group during WWII, to Chris Clark. Mr. Brunner shared information about Special Order (S.O) 203, providing a list of flight crews, his time as the bombardier on Little Iodine that the McMahon crew flew, and some of the memories of people in the various crews. He also sent a black and white photograph of McMahon's crew including Charles "Frank" Clark (Red), who was an aerial gunner, in front of Little Iodine plane.
