Description
Papers relating to the Estate of John G. Rogers, who died in March, 1843, as per account of J. H. Haskins for making walnut coffin (27 Mar 1843). John Rdiout took out Administration Papers, the forms for which indicate Rogers died intestate. Numerous accounts, receipts, a list of debts owed to Rogers. Mention of the hire of "2 servants, Mingo and Dick," for one year, $90. Mingo is listed on several merchant accounts.
