The Daily Republican and Argus began publication December 1, 1845 [v. 30, no. 7358] and ceased December 31, 1846 [v. 31, no. 7692]. It was published daily, except Sunday. It was also published as the Republican & Argus. Other editions include the Baltimore Republican (Baltimore: 1827). The newpaper continues the Republican & Daily Argus (Baltimore: 1842) and was continued by the Republican and Argus (Baltimore: 1847).
