(Baltimore: Friedrich Raine) Deutsche Correspondent began publication in 1848 and ceased in April 1918. It was published weekly in German. Title history based on February 28, 1873 [jahrg. 29, nr. 9]. It was also published as Wochentliche Deutsche Correspondent. Other editions include Deutsche Correspondent (Baltimore: 1841). The newspaper merged with Bayerisches Wochenblatt (Baltimore) to form the Baltimore Correspondent (Baltimore: 1919).
