The Republican and Daily Argus began publication June 10, 1850 [v. 35, no. 8,755] and ceased May 22, 1852 [v. 37, no. 9,326]. It was published daily, except Sunday. Other editions include the Baltimore Republican (Baltimore: 1827); the Weekly Argus (Baltimore: 1849); and the Baltimore Weekly Argus (Baltimore: 1850). The newspaper continues the Daily Republican and Argus (Baltimore: 1848) and was continued by the Daily Argus (Baltimore: 1852).
