Perry 1970; Record Observer Corporation 1971-1972; Record Observer Publishing Company 1973-1976; Bay Publishing Company 1977-1980; Chesapeake Publishing Corporation 1981-1986) The Queen Anne's Record-Observer began publication August 8, 1957 [v. 22, no. 31 (i.e. 32)] and ceased September 30, 1987 [v. 50, no. 4]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Queen Anne's Record Observer. It was published at Easton 1986-1987. The newspaper continues the Queen Anne's Record-Observer and Queenstown News (Centreville: 1956) and was continued by the Queen Anne's County Record-Observer (Centreville: 1987). This project was made possible through funds provided by the Maryland State Archives, the United States Newspaper Program of the Library of Congress and the Office of Preservation, National Endowment for the Humanities.
