The Weekly Advertiser began publication September 26, 1918 [v. 110, no. 7] and ceased in 1922[?]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Advertiser-Republican and the Advertiser Republican. The newspaper continues the Advertiser-Republican (Annapolis: 1908) and was continued by the Maryland Gazette (Annapolis: 1922).

Archives' collection includes issues for September 26, 1918-December 30, 1920 and April 21, 1921-December 29, 1921.
