Johnson) The Easton Ledger was published October 15, 1874 [v. 1, no. 1] to January 21, 1875 [v. 1, no. 15]; January 28, 1875 [new ser., v. 1, no. 16] to May 27, 1875 [new ser., v. 1, no. 33]; June 3, 1875 [Ledger ser., v. 1, no. 34] to January 20, 1881 [Ledger ser., v. 7, no. 15]; January 27, 1875 [v. 7, no. 16] and ceased in 1918[?]. It was published weekly. The newspaper continues the Easton Journal (Easton: 1863). Microfilming of these newspapers was made possible through funds provided by the Maryland State Archives and the United States Newspaper Program of the Library of Congress and the Office of Preservation, National Endowment for the Humanities.
