(St. Michaels, Talbot County: James W. Miller) The St. Michael's Comet began publication August 29, 1935 [vol. 73, no. 1]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Saint Michaels Comet. Issue for August 29, 1935 is first issue of "revival of old St. Michaels comet." The newspaper continues the Comet and Advertiser (St. Michaels: 1868). This project was made possible through funds provided by the Maryland State Archives and the United States Newspaper Program of the Library of Congress and the Office of Preservation, National Endowment for the Humanities.
