The Salisbury Advertiser and the Wicomico Countian began publication August 14, 1947 [v. 80, no. 33] and ceased June 27, 1974 [107th year, no. 26]. It was published weekly. It was published also as the Salisbury Advertiser, July 18, 1957-July 10, 1958. The newspaper continues the Salisbury Advertiser (Salisbury: 1941) and was continued by the Salisbury Advertiser (Salisbury: 1974).
