The Westminster Carrolltonian began publication in 1835 and ceased in 1845. It was published weekly. Title history based on September 5, 1835 [v. 3, no. 11]. It was also published as the Carrolltonian, and Baltimore and Frederick Advertiser [September 5, 1835-September 22, 1843] and the Carrolltonian and General Advertiser [October 4, 1844]. The newspaper continues the Carrolltonian (Westminster: 1833) and was continued by the Carrolltonian (Westminster: 1845).

Archives' collection includes copy of issue for April 14, 1837 [MSA SC 3422].
