The Maryland Advocate and Farmers' and Mechanics' Register began publication in March 1828[?] and ceased with the June 4, 1833 issue. It was published weekly. Title history based on May 3, 1828 [v. 5, no. 29]. Volumes for [May 3, 1828-October 25, 1830] also called whole no. [237-364]. The newspaper continues the Maryland Advocate (Cumberland: 1823) and was continued by the Maryland Advocate (Cumberland: 1833).
