(Baltimore: Dobbin & Fulton) The Baltimore American, and Commercial Advertiser began publication January 1, 1857 [v. 115, no. 18,821] and ceased June 13, 1861 [v. 123, no. 20,208]. It was published daily, except Sunday. It was also published as the American and Commercial Advertiser, January 1-August 28, 1858, and the Baltimore American. Other editions include the Baltimore Weekly American (Baltimore: 1855). The newspaper continues the American and Commercial Advertiser (Baltimore: 1854-1856) and was continued by the American and Commercial Advertiser (Baltimore: 1861-1869). Archives' collections include issue for June 9, 1860 (MSA SC 1925-1-82).
