The Salisbury Advertiser and the Wicomico Countian began publication in 1923[?] and ceased August 14, 1941 [v. 74, no. 33]. It was published weekly. Title history based on January 5, 1924 [v. 57, no. 1]. The newspaper was formed by the union of the Salisbury Advertiser (Salisbury: 1885) and the Wicomico Countian (Salisbury) and was continued by the Salisbury Advertiser (Salisbury: 1941).
