Other editions include the American and Commercial Advertiser (Baltimore: 1854), the Baltimore American and Commercial Advertiser (Baltimore: 1857), the American and Commercial Advertiser (Baltimore: 1861), and the Baltimore American and Commercial Advertiser (Baltimore: 1870). The newspaper continues the Baltimore Weekly American, Compendium of News and Prices Current (Baltimore: 1850) and was continued by the Baltimore American (Baltimore: 1883: weekly).
