The documents in this collection came into the possession of Hammond-Harwood House Association as a gift from the McCoy-Jones family who donated MSA SC 5999 to Maryland State Archives. Series 2 materials were donated by the Hammond-Harwood House Association to the Maryland State Archives in 2023.
