Description
Civil War diary of Edward L. McVaugh (1840-1864), from Cecil County. Served in Eighth Regiment Infantry, Company A. Also includes several war letters written to his sister. This collection includes a transcription, war records, and commentary compiled by Cooch's Bridge Chapter, Delaware State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
