Description
Eight lots purchased at the final Baltimore Book Company auction, January 17, 2013 and donated by the Friends of Maryland State Archives.

Series 1, consists of four lots of stereographs, late nineteenth-century views of Baltimore from the Library of James H. Bready. These Images of Stereo Views of Baltimore and beyond are digitized and appear online as part of BMS39-1, a series created by Dr. Edward C. Papenfuse.
Series 2 consists of documents and one book relating to general Maryland history
Series 3 is correspondence between historian Walter Lord and James Bready, columnist for the Baltimore Sun
