Description
Diary of Joseph Nourse, February 2, 1777 - March 1, 1777
Joseph Nourse was with the Continental Army at their winter quarters at Morristown, New Jersey. His journal for the month of February, 1777 includes a description of a skirmish with the British with about 400 militia and volunteers on the American side and mentions of:
- Lord Sterling/Stirling
- George Washington
- Major General Green(e)
The last few pages of the journal are mostly ripped out and therefore illegible.
