Extract from the journal of Joseph Nourse. Includes photocopy (4 pages) of the original and a transcription ( 2 pages) of the same, starting: "My Father's family is traced back for a considerable number of years." And ending: "neither can I withhold a most grateful expression of thanksgiving to God Almighty that I should have descended from a root so evidently a child of God and that a link of the chain should remain in myself, as the God son, of son of this parent."
