Description
Letter from William Cooke to James McHenry on July 15, 1807 regarding the future development plans of the Baltimore Water Company. Cooke explains a change in the plans and requests McHenry's consent for the Baltimore Water Company to divert several streams on McHenry's property so their flow runs into Baltimore's water supply.

Also contains a transcription of the original letter (two copies), and an article titled "Background Information on the Baltimore Drinking Water Supply System".

Manuscript document, Maryland Electors Votes for President and Vice President, Annapolis, December 16, 1820.
Dimensions: 10x16 in.

"We the undersigned Electors of Presidency and Vice Presidency of the United States of America, chosen in . . . the State of Maryland, do hereby certify that on the aforesaid day and at the aforesaid place an Election of President Vice President took place and that the . . . lists contain all the votes given in this State for President Vice President of the United States of America."

Signed by Joshua Prideaux, Jas Forrest, Rob Bowie, John Stephen, A McKim, Wm Gabby, Mich Gregg [?], Elias Brown, John Forwood [?], Wm Stuart and John Boon.; Reverse, also signed by the Electors, shows that all voted for James Monroe as President; 10 voted for Daniel Tompkins as Vice President, and 1 for Robert Goodloe Harper.
