Leger, Murray-Colhoun Corporation Cash Book No. 1 (1883-1890)

The Murray-Colhoun Corporation was a canning company active in the 1880's and 1890's. Their canning house was built along the Rhode River in Southern Anne Arundel County. The business owners were Charles Colhoun and Henry Murray Sr. Main products were canned tomatoes, peaches, and corn, which were packaged for shipment to Baltimore via steamer.

Description
Typescript copies of genealogical research on the Murray family of Anne Arundel County. Includes "Memoranda Prepared by Robert Murray, Surgeon General U.S.A. (1822-1913) concerning His Family" and "Genealogical Record of Murray (of Chestertown, Md.) Murray (of Cambridge, Md.), Dorsey, Maynadier, Hill, Ennalls, and Other Ancestors of the Murrays of 'Rockburn,' Howard County, Maryland" Collected by Dr. Robert Murray and Mrs. Cornelia M. Colhoun (Nee Murray) and Compiled by Robert Dorsey Murray (Son of Dr. Robert Murray). Also includes photographs of family gravesites and residences in the 1920s and a few later family notes. Obituary for Gen. (Dr.) Robert Murray glued into the back of volume.
