Description
Photograph album containing photographs taken by Alfred Sellman Best around Anne Arundel County, on the family farm, "Etowah," in Birdsville, Maryland, at Charlotte Hall [Charlotte Hall Military Academy], and at the University of Maryland.
The album also includes photographs of a University of Maryland football game, the Maryland State House and Governor's Mansion in Annapolis, the US Engineer Regiment and working being done on Maryland state roads.
Some photographs have descriptions. The binding is in disrepair. 7 1/2" x 6" x 3/4"

Description
Photograph album containing photographs, probably taken by Alfred Sellman Best. Subjects include: University of Maryland campus, UMD football games, UMD R.O.T.C., Great Falls, airplanes, canal, and more. Subjects in Virginia: the Crater at Petersburg, Jamestown, Richmond, Newport News, and Hampton Rhodes [Hampton Roads].
Some pages have descriptions of the photos and small drawings in the margins. Some of the pages are loose from the binding. 7 1/2" x 6" x 1"
