Description
Digital Photograph by Chad Wilkerson: Group of artists receiving certificates of appreciation from the Anne Arundel County Council. Group (including Chad Wilkerson who is in the back row, fourth from the left) stands in front of the Carlester Smith, aka "Walking Man" tribute mural painted on Pinkey's West Street Liquors, 1100 West Street in Annapolis in July 2020. Carlester Smith was a beloved fixture of the community who picked up trash, cleaned parking lots, and washed windows among many other community services. Mr. Smith died on March 2, 2020 at age 63. The lead mural artist is Comacell Brown, Jr. Wilkerson was part of the painting team. Keywords: BLM, Community, artwork
