Description
Letter written to Frances written from Camp Devens, Massachusetts. He overstayed his pass. There hasn't been any repercusions, but he does expect "company" punishment. He passed an examination. He has received the cigarettes and wants Elivira to send the case as soon as it is ready. He is hoping to go to Camp Merritt before they go over. He doesn't think they will see action because the war is almost over. He thinks he will be stuck abroad for a year or two; however, he thinks Charlie and Rob will be coming home. He doesn't want Frances to let Ione know he was down. He didn't go see her because he was sick.
